Don't throw out your old jeans! Reuse it! 

This is easy step by step tutorial how to make your own Kindle, Nook or Kobo ereader cover from old denim pants.

MATERIAL
For making this e reader/tablet cover I recommend using your old jeans.
You can use jeans legs for lining and outer material, and from your jeans pocket you can make a pocket for your e reader/tablet cover.

Sewing tips: How to make a Cover Button?

I will show you how to make your own fabric cover buttons without a kit. It easy!

Here is the project, Kindle cover pattern, where I have used cover button


Then, how to make a Cover Button? 


 First cut an appropriate size circle out of your fabric that is larger than your button.

 Then place the button in the middle of your circle.


 Start wrapping the button in the decorative material. Continue wrapping until you're done. 



Now, thread the needle and hand sew until you make it all the way around the circle. 


                                  After you finish hand sewing, cut the rest of the fabric.

DIY Ribbon hair bow

Make your own hair bow ribbon. It easy!



For one bow you will need:

6“ x 1 (15x2.5 cm) wide ribbon
6“ x 0.8 (15x2.5 cm) wide ribbon
2 x 0.8 (5 x 2 cm) wide ribbon
Hair clip
Thread
Scissors

STEP#2

Pinch your ribbon in half (5), length wise and so the opening is towards you.
Bring the needle up from bottom to top. 
Also, bring the needle up through the ribbon edges closest to you.

STEP#3 

Take another 6`` long ribbon and follow this steps



Sew the wrap (1). Insert hair clip (2) at the back
